Pollinator’s Delight is a wildflower seed kit I designed back in 2020. Like many illustrations I've done for commercial products, I was given the supposed name of the product—"Pollinator's Delight". My task was to develop a fitting packaging design for the name, and had only one requirement—to include a big fat bee! I meditated on the name for months before having an "Ah ha!" moment. The "delight" in the name reminded me a lot of a popular Chinese dish at called "Buddha's Delight". I thought what better to combine with a buddha, then a bee? Thus, the Buddha Bee was born, and pollinators delighted everywhere. The seed mix is a blend of 25 delightful species of wildflowers from all across the country. Honeybees and Bumblebees are sure to find a great work environment in the purple plumes of the Lacy Phacelia, and butterflies will adore Butterfly Milkweed!
